Equipment Overview


 

It is used for simulating sunlight, rain, and dew environment, to inspect the damages to samples (including but not limited as coating, ink, paint, resin, plastic, rubber, printing and packaging, aluminum profiles, adhesives, automobile and motorcycle components, cosmetics, metal, electronics, electroplating, medicine, etc.) caused by sunlight, rain, and dew.

Test principle: Fluorescent UV lamps can reproduce the influence of sunlight, condensation and water sprinkler systems reproduce the effects of dew and rain, the material is tested in a cyclical program of alternating light and moisture at a certain temperature. UV can reproduce the hazards of outdoor months to years in a matter of days or weeks. Types of hazards include: color fading, discoloration, loss of light, chalking, cracking, turbidity, air bubbles, embrittlement, strength decay, and oxidation.
