Usage of Vehicle Rain Spray Test Booth
The primary purpose of this test system is to evaluate the vehicle's resistance to rainwater penetration and its overall rainproof performance when exposed to rain, either during or after rain conditions.
The test checks whether the assembly of the body, doors, windows, and sunroof is properly aligned, whether the sealing performance is reliable, and whether the installation methods are correct and meet standards.
This system is designed to assess the rainproof and sealing performance of various types of passenger cars and vans, ensuring their durability and protection against rainwater infiltration.

Preliminary Testing Requirements Questionnaire
1. Indoor or Outdoor Installation: Is the rain tester to be used indoors or outdoors? What is the approximate size of the planned installation area at the customer’s site?
2.Vehicle Dimensions: What are the approximate length, width, and height ranges of the vehicle models to be tested?
3. Spray Area Coverage: Normally, the test sprays the front, back, left, and right sides. Is it also necessary to spray the top and bottom of the vehicle?
4. Drying after Water-Spray : Is it required to blow-dry the vehicle after spraying?
5. Production and Automation Requirements: What are the production (JPH) and automation requirements for the shower tester? Should high-speed production lines use automated conveyor systems with plate chains?
6. Equipment Configuration: Are there specific requirements for the equipment’s components, such as the material of the pipes (stainless steel/galvanized), electrical systems, motor, water pump brand, etc.?
7.Water Storage Tank Infrastructure: Is it acceptable for the customer to dig foundations for a water storage tank at the installation site? Can the customer handle the ground-embedded storage tank infrastructure? |
