On the afternoon of February 24, 2023, the group standard project review meeting of the "Technical Specifications for Residual Energy Testing of New Energy Vehicle Power Batteries" organized by the China Automobile Dealers Association was successfully held online.

The expert group is composed of representatives from China Electronics Standardization Research Institute, Tsinghua University School of Vehicles, Soochow University Chemical Power Research Institute, Beiqi Foton Engineering Research Institute, Chongqing University, and Beijing Transport University. The project is led by China Automotive Engineering Research Institute Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "China Automotive Research Institute") and jointly initiated by China Automobile Data Source, Shengke Energy, Ningde Times, Yuejian Group, and Guangzhou Automobile Trade. Representatives of the sponsoring units and industry-related enterprises such as BYD, Tesla, and Jingzheng participated in the meeting. The meeting was presided over by Lin Xun, director of the Standard Work Department of the China Automobile Dealers Association.

At the meeting, Wang Du, assistant president of the China Automobile Dealers Association, first spoke on behalf of the association, pointing out that standardized means should be used to provide necessary support for solving pain points and congestion points in the field of new energy vehicle circulation. Then Director He Penglin, the leader of the review team, led the participating experts to listen to the report on the project background, main technical content, work plan, etc. The participating experts exchanged, questioned and put forward opinions and suggestions on the necessity, feasibility, name, scope, application scenarios, and differentiation of the standard project. Finally, after full discussion among experts, it was unanimously agreed to approve the standard project.

The purpose of the association is to provide better and more valuable services to member companies, leading the industry to be more standardized and prosperous, and group standards are an important means of serving the industry. In the next step, the association will fully consider the valuable opinions and suggestions of experts, and carry out the formulation and revision of the association's group standards with high quality.
