Equipment Overview


Application: Suitable for fire hazard tests on solid electrical insulating materias of information technology equipment, low-voltage switchgear and control equipment parts, etc., simulate the thermal stress caused by hot components or overload resistance or ignition sources in a short time.

 

Test Principle: Adopts the electric heating wire of specific size (ф0.5mm length 250mm) and specific material (Ni80/Cr20). After the specified heating power (0.26W/mm) and the specified time (8s~12s) are pre-annealed, according to a certain winding tension (5.4N) and a certain winding distance (6 or 6.35mm), wind 5 full turns on the sample, test the sample with electric heating wire under the specified heating power (0.26W/mm) for 120s, and evaluate its fire hazard based on whether the sample is ignited or ignition time
