Equipment Overview


Samples and Restrictions: Information technology equipment, low-voltage switchgear and control equipment parts

 

Application: Suitable for arcing resistance test of electrical and electronic products, household appliances and their materials, simulating possible leakage that caused on the insulator between live parts of different polarities or between live parts and grounded metal parts, used to measure and evaluate the arcing resistance of the insulator under the specified voltage.

 

Test Principle: The high current arc ignition test apparatus adopts double electrodes, under a specific current (33A) and power factor (COSφ0.5), according to a certain arc ignition speed (254mm/s) and repetition frequency (40 times/min), the arc is repeated to 200 times on the surface of the sample, the high-current arc ignition resistance of the sample is evaluated (HAI) according to whether the sample is ignited or not. The smaller the level number, the harder the material is to be ignited.

 

Structure: The chamber structure comes with a protective cover.
