Equipment Overview


The UV Weatherproof Test Chamber can simulate the hazards caused by sunlight, rain, and dew. Adopt fluorescent UV lamps to simulate the effect of sunlight, use condensed moisture to simulate rain and dew, and place the tested material at a certain temperature to alternate between light and moisture test in the loop program. The test chamber takes few days or few months, which can reproduce hazards that occur outdoors. Hazard types include: fading, discoloration, loss of gloss, chalking, cracking, turbidity, bubbles, embrittlement, strength loss, and oxidation. The UV test data can help to select new materials and evaluate how changes in formulation affect the durability of new products. It is applicable widely in coatings, inks, paints, resins, plastics, rubber, printing and packaging, aluminum profiles, adhesives, automobiles, motorcycle industries, cosmetics, metals, electronics, electroplating, medicine, etc.
