Equipment Overview

The power battery drop test machine confirm to IEC 62619:2017 clause and, and etc.


It is suitable for the drop test of various types of automotive power batteries such as lead-acid batteries, nickel-metal hydride batteries, lithium batteries, super capacitors, zinc-air batteries, power battery modules, power battery packs, and battery packs. 1. Control requirements

2. Electrical safety

The system has a self-protection system (including safety protections such as power failure, overvoltage, overheating, computer failure, etc.; overvoltage and overcurrent protection of the equipment itself; protection to avoid short circuits caused by testers' misoperation, and battery electrodes are connected incorrectly.)


3. Installation requirements

The buyer shall provide the exhaust flue. Or according to specific requirements, the supplier will design, manufacture and install the exhaust gas treatment unit and exhaust pipe separately (the cost is additional).



Chassis features:

1. Corrosion-resistant insulating material is used for the inner liner of the drop working chamber. The corners of the working chamber are all designed with rounded lines, and the corners are not connected by seams. The working chamber has drainage holes and strainers for easy cleaning.

2. The drop working chamber has the functions of explosion-proof and automatic pressure relief and air supply. Due to the possibility of fire or even explosion during the battery test, the energy released by the single battery explosion: 52078J; if it explodes, it may hurt surrounding people and things during the test. The explosion-proof function should be needed. The explosion-proof function is realized by being relatively isolated from other parts of the equipment body; the instantaneous release of the explosion pressure (such as the destructive thin-plate flap structure) is realized through the weak link of the mechanical strength of the predetermined design of the working chamber; the strong smoke exhaust pipe of the equipment is activated to realize the fixed-point emission of harmful smoke and dust.

3. Provide an observation window for observing the test process and a built-in explosion-proof lighting in the working chamber. The observation window adopts a double-layer glass structure, the inner layer is tempered glass, the air is isolated in the middle, and the outer layer is bulletproof glass. The tempered glass on the inner layer is easy to replace.

4. Four corner wheels (two for universal and two for orientation) are installed at the bottom of the device, and fixed feet with adjustable height are also installed.
