Product Overview
This EV Plug and Socket Temperature Rise Test System is specially designed to evaluate the thermal performance and safety of electric vehicle charging interfaces. It fully complies with IEC 62196-1 Ed.4 CDV 2020 (Clause 12.3, 24, Table 10, 34.2, 34.4, 35.4), as well as IEC 62916-2 and IEC 62916-3 standards.
The system accurately measures the temperature rise of EV plugs, sockets, and terminals under rated current conditions, ensuring that all components meet international safety requirements. It also supports short-time high current withstand testing for grounding contacts, helping manufacturers verify product reliability and performance under extreme conditions.
Featuring precise temperature monitoring, stable current output, and intelligent data recording, this test system provides a reliable solution for EV connector thermal evaluation, quality control, and certification testing.
The system uses self-programmed software controlled by a computer. All standard test procedures and data judgments are controlled by the system, making operation easy. It is used to assess the surface heating and electrode temperature rise of charging interfaces and electrical accessories when connected to load current, and to check if the temperature rise meets the standard requirements.
