Product Description

IEC 62196-1:2022 AC/DC Anti-Shock Probe Tester for EV Charging Connector Safety Test

Product Overview

The AC/DC Anti-Shock Probe Tester is designed for EV charging connector and electrical safety testing according to IEC 62196-1:2022 clauses 10.1, 10.2, and 26.6.

Used together with a test probe, this device detects whether accessible conductive parts are energized by applying AC/DC test voltage. It provides a safe, accurate, and efficient solution for electric safety verification in EV charging equipment laboratories, connector manufacturers, and certification testing facilities.

IEC 62196-1:2022 AC/DC Anti-Shock Probe Tester for EV Charging Connector Safety Test

Key Features
  • ✅ IEC 62196-1:2022 Standard Compliance

Designed for EV charging connector safety verification according to international testing requirements.

  • ✅ AC/DC Dual Voltage Output

Supports both AC and DC test voltage modes, allowing flexible application for different safety evaluation procedures.

  • ✅ Accurate Live-Part Detection

Used together with the testing probe to identify whether accessible components are electrically energized.

  • ✅ Simple Operation Process

One-button start and reset control provide convenient operation during laboratory testing.

  • ✅ Compact Electrical Safety Testing Solution

Suitable for R&D laboratories, certification testing centers, and EV component manufacturers.

Working Principle

During testing, the low-potential output terminal (red terminal) is connected to the energized part of the equipment under test, while the high-potential terminal is connected to the input terminal of the test probe.

After activating the test circuit, the operator uses the probe to contact suspected conductive areas. If a voltage signal is detected, the tested point is considered energized. After completing the measurement, the reset button disconnects the circuit safely.

This method helps evaluate electrical protection performance and supports compliance verification of charging connectors and electrical products.
