The SN2206T Vertical Impact Test Apparatus is designed for evaluating the external impact resistance of thermoplastic pipes according to ISO3127 standard. It uses a vertical falling weight impact method to assess pipe strength and durability under sudden impact conditions.
Equipped with an electric lifting system, electromagnetic release mechanism, and X/Y adjustable fixture, the tester provides accurate impact positioning, easy operation, and repeatable test results for plastic pipe manufacturers, laboratories, and quality inspection organizations.
The tester adopts a free-falling impact method, converting gravitational potential energy into impact energy to apply a controlled impact force on the pipe specimen.
Designed according to ISO3127 requirements, suitable for evaluating the external impact resistance of thermoplastic pipes.
The integrated X/Y adjustable fixture allows operators to set different impact locations according to specimen requirements.
The electric lifting system enables quick and precise adjustment of drop height with a positioning accuracy of ±1 mm.
The rigid sheet metal frame with reinforced base plate ensures stable operation during impact testing.
The SN2206T Vertical Impact Test Apparatus is suitable for:
| Application Field | Testing Purpose |
|---|---|
| Plastic Pipe Manufacturing | Quality control and production inspection |
| Pipe Material Research | Mechanical performance evaluation |
| Testing Laboratories | Standard compliance testing |
| Certification Organizations | External impact resistance verification |
| R&D Centers | Product development and improvement |
According to the vertical falling weight impact method, the impact element is lifted to a specified height and released by an electromagnetic mechanism. The impact weight falls vertically and strikes the pipe specimen.
The generated impact energy is controlled by the falling height and impact mass, allowing evaluation of the specimen’s resistance against external mechanical impact.
| Specimen Range, Application, Principle, Structure and Operating Environment | |
| Test Specimen and Limitation | Thermoplastic plastic pipes |
| Test Purpose | Used to evaluate the resistance of thermoplastic pipes against free-falling impact, and assess product safety performance and strength grade. |
| Test Principle | According to Test Method Ehc: Vertical falling weight impact. The impact element is released from a specified height and falls freely in the vertical direction to strike the specimen. Through the conversion of gravitational potential energy into kinetic energy, the impact test on the specimen is achieved. |
