The DO-160G Civil Aviation Electronics Anti-Drip Test Equipment is designed for waterproofness testing of airborne equipment and avionics exposed to falling or dripping water during aircraft operation.
The system simulates a controlled dripping-water environment over the test sample and helps evaluate whether the enclosure and equipment can maintain the required performance after water exposure.
The test is designed to verify whether W-type avionics equipment can maintain proper performance when exposed to a dripping water environment. It evaluates the protective performance of the product enclosure against water dripping.
The equipment controls the water supply flow to achieve the required dripping rate of 140 L/m²/h. It generates a uniform water flow over the entire surface of the test sample enclosure to simulate the specified dripping environment.
