Product Overview:

The Temperature Controlled External Short Circuit Tester is designed for lithium battery safety testing, battery cell abuse testing and external short-circuit testing.

With a maximum load current of 1000A, 20mΩ built-in resistor and ≤5μs DC response time, the system provides a controlled and repeatable high-current short-circuit test environment.

The integrated temperature-controlled chamber, battery surface temperature monitoring, automatic PLC control, smoke exhaust and explosion-proof protection make it suitable for battery R&D laboratories, safety testing laboratories and quality-control applications.

Basic performance:

  1. Simple operation and control: touch screen human-machine interface, touch editing control; the battery is placed on the shelf of the thermostat. Close the door and press the touch screen test button to automatically complete the test.

Test requirements and steps:

  1. After the equipment enters the laboratory, adjust the distance between the front, rear, left, and right of the equipment, adjust the leveling feet to make the base level, and fix the caster cups.
  2. Connect the power cord to the device and test the machine. Only when there are no problems can you enter the product test.
  3. Set the test parameters, place the battery on the shelf of the inner test box, close the door and start the test.
  4. During the test, the door cannot be opened at will until the test is completed. After the observation time is over, the door can be opened to check the battery.

Human-machine interface control

The ceramic heating wire generates heat and forces horizontal air circulation through the wind wheel of the circulation motor. The hot air reaches uniformity during the circulation. It has over-temperature protection and automatic power-off function when overloaded.

Smoke exhaust function

A powerful negative pressure smoke exhaust blower is installed on the top of the test box: the smoke exhaust volume is 2.2m³/min.

The exhaust pipe of the blower is at the rear upper part of the outer box: the stainless steel SUS201 exhaust pipe is directly φ60mm.

Safety and explosion-proof The door is equipped with 20mm thickness tempered explosion-proof glass and explosion-proof stainless steel grid.
Reinforcement ribs are welded inside the door to make the door stronger and increase strength.
The external link hinge door lock uses high-strength standard accessories. It is safe and easy to install and replace.
