ISO 4892-82 Chamber Type UV Accelerated Weathering Test Chamber
Product overview:
The UV Accelerated Weathering Test Chamber is designed to simulate the effects of sunlight, moisture, rain and dew on materials under controlled laboratory conditions.
Using fluorescent UV lamps, condensation and water spray, the chamber accelerates outdoor weathering processes and helps evaluate material durability in a much shorter testing period.
It is widely used for UV aging testing, accelerated weathering testing and material durability evaluation of coatings, paints, plastics, rubber, inks, resins, adhesives, automotive materials, metals, electronics and other products.
Lamp Configuration: Customers can select either UV-A or UV-B lamps when placing an order. If no specific instructions are provided, the default configuration is UV-A lamps.
Outdoor exposure can cause materials to experience fading, discoloration, gloss loss, chalking, cracking, embrittlement, oxidation and strength loss.
The equipment accelerates these weathering effects by combining controlled UV radiation, condensation and water spray.
This allows manufacturers and laboratories to compare material durability, evaluate formulations and support new material development and product quality testing.
UV Radiation → Heat → Condensation → Water Spray → Repeated Weathering Cycle
The programmable control system can combine irradiation, condensation and spray conditions into repeatable testing cycles.
