The Thermal Shock Test Chamber is designed for evaluating how products and materials withstand rapid transitions between high and low temperature conditions. Unlike conventional temperature cycling equipment, this environmental test chamber uses separate high-temperature and low-temperature storage zones together with an independent test area to achieve rapid temperature changes while the test specimen remains stationary.
With a temperature range from -60°C to +200°C and a specified shock recovery time of ≤5 seconds, the chamber is suitable for accelerated environmental and reliability testing of components, assemblies and materials.
It can be used in industries including automotive components, electrical and electronic products, plastics, rubber, metal products, material testing and quality assurance laboratories.
The system is designed around requirements associated with IEC 60068 environmental testing, including cold, dry heat and temperature change testing.
The chamber supports high-temperature testing from room temperature to +200°C and low-temperature testing from room temperature down to -60°C. The specified temperature shock recovery time is ≤5 seconds for -60°C to +200°C.
The system incorporates:
This configuration allows rapid switching between temperature conditions without requiring the specimen to be manually transferred between chambers.
The test chamber provides:
These control functions support repeatable environmental testing and laboratory quality control.
A 7-inch color LCD touch screen with PLC control allows operators to set temperature profiles, monitor test conditions and record operating data. The system supports constant operation, programmed testing and scheduled startup.
Up to 120 test programs can be stored, with a maximum setting time of 99 hours 59 minutes per segment.
The chamber provides RS232 and USB interfaces and can be connected to a computer for temperature curve display, test data collection and equipment monitoring.

The intelligent control system combines temperature regulation, heating, refrigeration and test-program management in one interface.
The touch-screen controller can display:
The controller supports constant temperature operation, programmable temperature cycling and scheduled startup. Operators can also skip program segments or maintain a selected function during program execution.
The system includes automatic fault detection and alarm functions to help identify abnormal operating conditions.
The chamber supports several operating sequences according to the required test profile:
| Test Mode | Description |
|---|---|
| High → Low | High-temperature exposure followed by low-temperature exposure |
| Low → High | Low-temperature exposure followed by high-temperature exposure |
| High → Low → Normal | High/low temperature cycle with normal-temperature mode |
| Low → High → Normal | Low/high temperature cycle with normal-temperature mode |
These programmable modes make the equipment suitable for a wide range of temperature cycling, thermal shock and environmental reliability testing applications.
Refrigeration and Thermal Management System
The refrigeration system uses a semi-hermetic compressor configuration and automatic refrigeration energy control.
The system incorporates:
The refrigeration circuit is manufactured using nitrogen-protected welding and vacuum treatment to improve internal cleanliness and system reliability.
